My path into AI engineering started in the field, not in a boardroom. During a thesis internship at one of the Netherlands' top Magento agencies, I built an AI-powered recommendation system that the agency recognized as production-ready. That wasn't a “good student project” — it became the technical foundation of a commercial startup.
That early validation launched Deep Loom in 2023. What started as a boutique AI consultancy has since shipped 15+ production AI systems — spanning growth automation, recommendation engines, SEO pipelines, and voice AI — for clients ranging from Finnish startups to UN-affiliated organizations.
The work that gets me up in the morning is the hard stuff: designing AI infrastructure from zero, making real-time systems perform at scale, and translating technical capability into measurable business impact.
